Hello and good afternoon everyone on this very cold and wild day. It sure is a perfect day for crafting.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.
Cut it Up. Challenge #63. EMBOSSING.
Butterfly Spot. Challenge #23. V for VALENTINES + BUTTERFLIES.
Craft Your Passion. Challenge #246. ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES.
I am not sure of the correct name for this style of card, so for the purpose of this post, I have called it Z-FOLD CARD, I hope that is ok, maybe someone can give me the correct name for it, Thank You.
For the base of this card I have used an A4 sheet of RED PEARLISED CARD, divided into three sections. On each section I then added a BLACK PANEL and finally the
RED & WHITE BUTTERFLY DESIGN CARD was positioned on each panel. All edges have a
SILVER CHAINLINK BORDER to highlight and give definition too.
I then die-cut three sizes of the Spellbinders CROWNED CIRCLES SET. Each one of these were then embossed with a different embossing folder, which are - SMALL FLOWERS, SWISS DOTS
and CRACKLE folders. Once layered together I added a Martha Stewart 3D WATER LILY using
WHITE PEARLISED CARD and in the centre of that I added a BLACK ORGANZA FLOWER. The foliage is die-cut using the Spellbinders FOLIAGE SET and using BLACK PEARLISED CARD. Once in position I completed the look with RED & CRYSTAL GEMSTONES around the edges.
On the third panel I added my sentiment, which reads
"MY LOVE WILL FOREVER BE YOURS". It was positioned on BLACK PEARLISED CARD and trimmed with the DECKLE SCISSORS, then mounted onto RED card and trimmed again. I also added a RED SATIN BOW to the corner.
Finally down the outer edge of the card I added FIVE die-cut BUTTERFLIES by Joycraft with the addition of CRYSTALS for the body.
Thank you so much for atopping by, you are so kind.
Happy crafting.
Love Sandra xx

Sandra, Saw your beautiful card over at the Butterfly Challenge and popped over to see a closer look and become your newest follower. Love this fold & the papers you've used on each section of your card. The tiny edge trimming on each section highlights the print so nicely, and love the flourishes & embellies on the front section very much. What really steals the show, is the flight of butterflies on the back section edge though. Very lovely & lots of attention to great details. TFS & Happy Valentine's Day. Hope you'll have time to visit me too.
