THANK YOU.

Hello and good morning, and thank you very much for coming to visit.

I would like to enter this card into the fdollowing challenge.

Butterfly Challenge.  Challenge #21.  THANK YOU WITH BUTTERFLIES.

This is another of my favourite colour combinations, and I have made this because I just love Butterflies.
The background is PLAIN BLACK edged with a SILVER CHAINLINK BORDER as are all other edges, in order to highlight and add definition too.
The two panels are random sized using scraps of paper from the First Edition NOIR ET CHIC paper pad. This paper is GLITTERED AND EMBOSSED.
The border has been created by using BLACK MIRROR CARD with a SILVER HOLOGRAPHIC CARD on top which has been punched down both edges with a Martha Stewart CLOUDY HEARTS punch. Running down the centre of that is a DOUBLE ROW STRING OF PEARLS for added texture.
The large BUTTERFLY is by Ultimate Crafts and I have die-cut two layers, the bottom one is WHITE HOLOGRAPHIC and the top layer is a BLACK AND WHITE PATTERNED PAPER.
Finally I punched TWO SMALL BUTTERFLIES and layered them and to finish the look I have added the sentiment "THANK YOU" in SILVER LETTERING.

Thqnk you very much for taking the time to come and look, it is very much appreciated.
Love Sandra xx

  1. Hello Sandra and welcome to my butterfly challenge. I feel sure that we have been following one another before on my main blog. I certainly have 2 cards that you have sent me in the past. Following you again now. I remember that you love to use the edging strips on your cards and it always looks so effective. Loved reading how you put this card together. It really does look stunning. Thankyou for fluttering by #21. Hugs mrs A.

    1. Hello Mrs. A. Yes you are right, it is me. You are also right about the decorative borders I put on all my cards, that is my trademark I suppose. If I find your email I will drop you a line.
Thank you for being one of my followers again.
      Happy crafting.
